Dr. Dushyant Nimavat is an associate professor with the Department of English, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He has contributed 14 books, 22 book chapters and 42 research papers in reputed international journals. He is interested in areas like diaspora studies, Cultural studies, translation studies and comparative literature. He is a member of council for Indian Association for Canadian Studies(IACS). He is Joint Secretary for Gujarat region for Ecosophical Foundation for the Study of Literature and Environment. He is a member of the editorial Board for 27 International journals. He has two patents registered along with the team of English teachers of Gujarat. He has received 3 national and 2 International awards for his contribution to research and teaching. He is a member of the board of studies for three State universities and three private universities of Gujarat. He has delivered more than 70 invited lectures at various nationally reputed institutions. He has successfully guided many students for PhD and M.Phil.
